Benjamin John Ouellette, Top 30 under 30 award winner, NKBA

Waterloo, December 4 2015 — Benjamin John Ouellette has been selected as one of the 30 Under 30 recipients by The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) for the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show 2016 (KBIS®), to be held January 19-21 in Las Vegas.

“For the fourth year in a row, we are excited to present our 30 Under 30 young professionals at KBIS 2016,” says Nancy Barnes, NKBA Director of Learning. “Each year we continue to be delighted by the success of the program, which brings together a group of bright, enthusiastic twenty-something entrepreneurs, forward-thinking CEOs, and cutting-edge designers. It is a privilege to work with them, and I’m looking forward to seeing them in Las Vegas.”

The goal of the NKBA 30 Under 30 Program is to acknowledge outstanding young professionals, while helping these individuals to immerse and apply themselves to new opportunities for growth and development in support of the industry.

With an Advanced Interior Design Diploma and over ten years experience, Benjamin has worked with numerous clients from all walks of life.  He takes their needs, personality and vision and creates intuitive working spaces that stimulate all five of the senses.

As lead kitchen designer for Casey’s Creative Kitchens in Waterloo, ON, Benjamin is always searching for new concepts and products to assist with his designs, offering his clients cutting-edge solutions that assist in daily life. Waterloo is a technological hub, which allows Benjamin to emphasize modern technology while customizing clients homes and provide innovative solutions from the ground up.  Reflecting his passion and aptitude for design, in 2014 Benjamin’s modern kitchen design was awarded with a North American ‘Elite Design Award’ for a home in Carriage Crossing, North Waterloo.

“The recognition of winning the 30 Under 30 award will allow me to meet many other leaders passionate about the kitchen and bath industry,” Benjamin said. “I am most excited to share experiences and acquire perspectives from across North America and beyond.”

On Wednesday, January 20, 2016, the group of 30 young professionals will present their findings on the Las Vegas show floor in a presentation for KBIS 2016 show attendees. They will share the results of their explorations and answer questions from the audience.
